FAQ'S
-
"I have an event, when is the best day to tan?"Two days prior is best. 3 days max. Pedicures must be completes BEFORE spray tan. You can do day before if booking our Rapid Tan and you're not a bride to be.
-
"I want to try teeth whitening by my teeth are very sensitive"We can help! It's best recommended to book our 30 Minute Teeth Whitening Session to start.
-
"Will I turn orange?"The solutions used are customized to your skin tone using the proper bronzer undertone to avoid the chances of an orangy tan.
-
"I’m pregnant, can I still get a spray tan?"WE take care of many expecting moms to be. Our policy is to always consult with your OB first before spray tanning.
-
"Can I go in the pool or ocean?"Absolutely. Your tan, once set, will gradually fade each day. Keep in mind that pool chemicals & salt water can cause it to fade quicker as this acts the same as skin exfoliation would. We recommend to avoid hot tub use and taking baths for the duration of the tan. Be sure to pack our Stay Golden Lotion with you. This will not only hydrate your skin, but will gradually fill in any areas that have faded with an effortless, low maintenance application (no tint, no rinsing off or mitt required).
-
"How long will it take to develop?"With our Regular Tan, once you’re sprayed, it’s best to leave on the full 8-10 hours before showering. This will ensure you’re fully developed. Our Premium Rapid Tan is also available developing in 4 hours allowing you to rinse off much faster. Both options last the same duration.
-
"Can I moisturize with my own body lotion?"It’s best to use something compatible with spray tanning, that doesn’t contain any bronzers. Our high quality tanning prep & after care products will help keep the life of your tan longer so get the most out of your spray tan investment.
-
"I enjoy being tanned all year round without the use of tanning beds or sun bathing, how often can I get sprayed?"Every 10-14 days as long as previous tan has been fully removed with exfoliation using a good tan remover. This will ensure an even tan application. Ask about our monthly tan memberships to tan up to 3 times per month and save $75mth.
-
"Are all spray tans 100% organic?"It's important to note that we only use high quality products. What we use on you, we also use on ourselves. Our tanning solutions remain to be some of the cleaniest options on the market today. Containing organic and natural ingredients, antioxidants, and vitamins. Free from parabens, gluten, mineral oils, sulphates, formaldehyde, and toxins. What is DHA? This is what gives your skin the tan. We use only sugar cane derived eco cert dha. DHA is considered plant based natural, but the extraction of it from the sugar cane involves a "chemical process." Which is why tanning solutions can't fully be 100% organic. In Canada, you can claim a product to be "organic" if it contains a minimum of 95% organic ingredients.
-
"How long does a typical appointment take?"Your appointment will take about 20 minutes. The bronzer applied is natural looking compared to most, so you won't have to hide out in your house while you develop but you will need to stay dry, no sweating, dishes or handwashing.
